1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1.1 Each contestant is limited to a single entry and must submit a single video.
1.2 Selected contestants are required to maintain accessibility on social platforms for the provision of contact details for the next stage of the competition.
1.3 Contestants must fall within the age range of 13 to 25.
1.4 Contestants under the age of 18 are obligated to secure parental consent prior to submitting their applications. KFC Mauritius disclaims any responsibility at this preliminary stage of the competition.
2. INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT
2.1 Submissions featuring explicit, graphic, or vulgar content shall result in immediate disqualification at the exclusive discretion of KFC Mauritius.
3. FINALIST SELECTION
3.1 A panel of judges from KFC Mauritius, in conjunction with public voting input, will discerningly select ten finalists based on criteria including artistic merit, creativity, and audience appeal. The evaluation of finalists accounts for 80% of the final decision.
4. PUBLIC VOTING
4.1 Active public participation in the selection process, through casting votes for contestants, contributes to the comprehensive evaluation of finalists and accounts for 20% of the final decision.
5. CONTENT REPOSTING
5.1 Upon submission, contestants grant KFC Mauritius a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from the submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes.
6. PARTICIPATION RESPONSIBILITIES
6.1 Contestants are responsible for remaining informed about the timing, terms, and conditions of the digital submission process and live performances.
6.2 Contestants below 18 must obtain parental permission to enter the competition.
6.3 If contestants below 18 advance to the finalist stage, their legal guardians must provide a signature and complete a consent form during or before the event.
7. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
7.1 Contestants must communicate their song choice to KFC Mauritius before the live event during the contact exchange.
7.2 Contestants must be adequately prepared and adhere to specified performance time limits.
7.3 Contestants must conduct themselves responsibly and abstain from intoxication or the influence of drugs during performances.
8. JUDGING AND PRIZES
8.1 Decisions rendered by both the panel and the public are deemed final.
8.2 The top three contestants will be publicly announced on the final day of the event on stage and will perform their song again.
8.3 KFC Mauritius retains the right to deem any submission ineligible if the paticipants fails to comply with the stipulated terms and conditions.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1 KFC Mauritius retains sole discretion regarding the organisation of any performance associated with the competition.
9.2 Prizes are confirmed in good faith, and KFC Mauritius disclaims responsibility for alterations or withdrawals due to circumstances beyond its control.
9.3 Contestants participate at their own risk, and KFC Mauritius bears no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from Prize acceptance or competition participation.
10. AMENDMENT OF TERMS
10.1 By participating, contestants agree to adhere to these terms. KFC Mauritius reserves the right to amend or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Contestants, by entering the competition, acknowledge and agree to the outlined terms and conditions.
